I'm having a bad time trying to choose my wedding cake baker. Should I go with my local bakery, or more specialised cake company? Do I have a main cake that i get photographs with and a second one for guests?? Any advice anyone

I'd recommend two cakes / two different flavours. Not everyone likes traditional wedding cake (me included). Also, use a wedding cake shop. They'll deal better with complaints and can customise it to whatever you want. More expensive though

And i'd recommend http://www.creativecakes-ni.co.uk At least their cakes looked good.

Cakes are easy to source - your local bakery will probably bake a good one. I've tasted so many wedding cakes that looked good but tasted awful - I'd make sure you knew who was baking it, even more so than what it looks like! it's what guests will remember!

Crumbs Cakes in Belfast are amazing - their designs are really unique! Why not go for a cupcake style wedding cake with a big firecracker on top for the photos :)
